My name is Gurman and I've been in love with the art of photography for over two decades. I launched my company in 2018 while working full-time in biomedical and pediatric research and I haven't looked back since. I'll spare you the details, but whether it's weddings, family sessions, or corporate headshots, photography gives me the chance to tell a piece of your story without saying a single word. That's beautiful, if you ask me.

 

As some of you already know, Silt and Brine Photography was previously known as GSK Photography. The new name took me over a year to finalize, but I got the idea while I was cooking:

 

Brining is the process of preserving items in saltwater. Silt is a sediment similar to sand and it slips through our fingers just like time.

 

'Silt and Brine' represents the ebb and flow of life; the balance of holding on a little longer and letting go. So my goal, as corny as it sounds, is to capture and preserve your special fleeting memories - to 'brine' them for you.
